Answer. Corporate political power." djg1.com

Think glacially.

.This is not a dead mackerel glittering in the Philadelphia moonlight. This drain clogger, is a common species of  Philadelphia Litter. It has been identified as the News Gleaner resting uninvited on private  property. It is known to spawn weekly. Similar trash floppings are commonly seen in the city streets and gutters of Philadelphia.

Hard to blame the local city politicians for wanting their names feted in the neighborhood newspaper litter.  Philadelphia politicos feel this newspaper litter is their sacred political life's' blood. Even our revered national big time retail outlets have the same state of see me - me - me - me mind. Look at ADVO, Inc a really big time city litterbug.   ACME, Pathmark, Walgreens and CVS shamelessly have their logos emblazoned on ADVO, Inc's, ubiquitous white plastic wrappings. The wrapping are stuffed with more... ahh... promotional literature.  ADVO's arrogant corporate distribution system might make even Christopher Henry of the Northeast NewsGleaner bow in awe.  djg1.com
